Our Journey
How It Started
For over two decades, Dave built homes and commercial spaces using volumetric modular construction. But when he and Jennifer started a family, their professional mission became personal. They began asking deeper questions: How do we create safer, more sustainable, and higher-performing buildings for future generations? How do we reduce waste, speed up delivery and ensure long-term resilience?
That search for answers led them beyond the job site. They realized that innovation in construction isn’t just about better buildings—it’s about better systems, smarter decisions, and shared knowledge. And they believed those insights shouldn’t stay behind closed doors. Together, they launched Dave Cooper LIVE to spotlight the people, ideas, and technologies shaping a better built environment.

At heart, Dave is a builder. Using volumetric modular construction for 20+ years in some of the most challenging regions of the U.S., his quest to Build It Better led him to connect with industrialized construction experts from around the world.
Eager to share valuable insights, he launched a LIVE video series across multiple platforms, inviting a global audience to ask questions and share their stories in real time. Now, as Chief Content Creator of Dave Cooper LIVE, a keynote speaker and industry consultant, Dave has become a leading figure in the AEC community on building technology and industrialized construction.
Jennifer Krokus Cooper
Inspired by industry practitioners and stakeholders delivering on a shared vision of progress for the built environment, Jennifer, along with her husband Dave, has created a vibrant platform designed to educate + inform innovators and professionals of emerging technologies and sustainable construction practices.
From on-camera interviews with top experts to behind-the-scenes production magic, she’s integral to making sure the channel consistently produces compelling, trusted content, and sparks a movement within a lagging industry ready to Build It Better.
